Reelpop Media LLC ("Reelpop," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Reelpop websites, creator platform, application and onboarding flows, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy applies when you visit or use the Services, apply to work with us, communicate with us, or otherwise interact with Reelpop.
1. Scope
This policy covers personal information that Reelpop controls in connection with the Services. It does not cover a third party's own services, websites, or practices, including TikTok, Meta, PayPal, banks, digital-asset networks, or other platforms you choose to use. Those parties process information under their own privacy notices.
A project or mobile application offered through Reelpop may publish a separate privacy notice. If a project-specific notice conflicts with this policy for that project, the project-specific notice controls.
2. Information we collect
Account and identity information
We collect information such as your name, email address, password in hashed form, account role and status, preferred language, country, and account creation and sign-in dates.
Applications and communications
If you apply to become a creator or poster, join a roster, or contact us, we may collect your age, country, phone or device model, social-media experience, availability, languages, motivation, referral source, and the contact method and handle you provide, such as a WhatsApp number, Telegram username, or Discord username. We also process support messages, onboarding chats, feedback, and other correspondence.
Creator, content, and social account information
We collect TikTok usernames and profile URLs, account notes, assigned projects, posting activity, public post and profile metrics, content performance, content requests, captions, comments, uploaded images and brand assets, generated slideshows, exports, and other content you create or submit through the Services.
Earnings and payout information
To calculate earnings and make payments, we process payout rates, view and posting metrics, payment history, and the payout details you choose to provide. Depending on your method, this may include a PayPal email, cryptocurrency network, token and wallet address, or bank account holder name, bank name, account or IBAN number, SWIFT/BIC, and bank address. We may also collect information needed for tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, or legal compliance purposes.
Device, usage, and technical information
When you use the Services, we and our service providers may automatically receive your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, language, referring page, pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, timestamps, cookie or similar identifiers, log data, and information about how you interact with the Services. We also collect diagnostic, security, generation-usage, and error information.
Information we do not intentionally request
Please do not submit government identification numbers, payment-card details, medical records, or other highly sensitive information unless we specifically request it through an appropriate secure process.
3. Sources of information
We collect personal information:
- directly from you when you apply, register, upload content, select a payout method, or communicate with us;
- automatically from your browser or device when you use the Services;
- from public sources and third-party platforms, including publicly available TikTok profiles, posts, and engagement metrics;
- from people or organizations that manage, refer, or work with creators; and
- from vendors that support analytics, advertising, hosting, security, content generation, payments, and communications.
4. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- provide, personalize, maintain, and improve the Services;
- create and administer accounts, applications, onboarding, projects, and creator assignments;
- generate, store, organize, review, and deliver content you request;
- measure post performance, calculate earnings, process payouts, and maintain financial records;
- communicate with you about applications, assignments, payments, support, service updates, and opportunities;
- understand usage, measure advertising, and improve our campaigns and user experience;
- protect the Services, detect abuse and fraud, enforce our agreements, and troubleshoot technical issues;
- comply with law, tax and accounting obligations, legal process, and requests from authorities; and
- establish, exercise, or defend legal claims and complete a corporate transaction.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information as needed to perform a contract with you, based on our legitimate interests or those of others, with your consent, and to comply with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time, but withdrawal does not affect earlier processing.
5. How we disclose information
We may disclose personal information to:
- Service providers that host data, store files, provide databases, secure the Services, analyze usage, support communications, generate text or images, process public social-media data, or help us make payments.
- Brands, project operators, and collaborators when needed to administer a campaign, review work, coordinate assignments, evaluate performance, or pay creators.
- Advertising and analytics partners, including Meta, which may receive cookie identifiers, device and network information, page visits, and conversion events.
- Payment recipients and providers, including banks, PayPal, digital-asset networks, and payment partners, when needed to complete or document a payout.
- Authorities and other parties for legal reasons when we reasonably believe disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, security, users, Reelpop, or the public.
- Transaction parties and advisers in connection with a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, insolvency, or similar transaction.
- Other parties at your direction or with your consent.
We may disclose aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably identify you. We do not sell personal information for money.
6. Cookies, analytics, and advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember language preferences, protect the Services, understand usage, and measure marketing. Our session cookie is HTTP-only and is used to authenticate your account. We may also use Meta Pixel to record page visits and campaign conversions.
You can restrict cookies through your browser, but blocking necessary cookies may prevent sign-in or other features from working. Advertising partners may provide their own opt-out controls. Where required, we will honor applicable legally recognized browser-based opt-out signals, such as Global Privacy Control, as a request to opt out of sale or sharing for targeted advertising. We do not currently respond to other "Do Not Track" signals.
7. AI and content processing
Some Service features use third-party artificial-intelligence providers to generate or analyze text and images. Prompts, uploaded content, reference images, brand rules, and relevant instructions may be sent to those providers solely to return the requested feature, maintain safety and reliability, and as otherwise described in their agreements with us. Do not include personal information in prompts or uploads unless it is necessary for the feature and you have the right to provide it.
Automated tools may help organize content or suggest outputs, but Reelpop personnel or project collaborators may also review submitted and generated content for quality, support, safety, and campaign administration.
8. Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the Services and fulfill the purposes above. The retention period depends on the type of information, our relationship with you, and legal, accounting, security, dispute, and operational requirements. For example, account and project records may be kept while your account is active; financial and payout records may be kept for the period required by tax and accounting law; and security logs may be kept for a shorter period unless needed to investigate an incident.
When information is no longer needed, we will delete it, de-identify it, or securely isolate it until deletion is practicable, subject to backups and legal holds.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. Passwords are stored in hashed form and authentication cookies use security controls. However, no storage or transmission method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for using a strong, unique password and protecting your account credentials.
10. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of your personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; opt out of targeted advertising or certain sharing; and appeal our response to a request.
To make a request, email info@reelpop.cowith the subject "Privacy Request." Describe your request and the email connected to your account. We may need to verify your identity. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, but we may request proof of authorization and direct identity verification. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
You may update certain information in your account, remove a payout method where the feature is available, or contact us to close your account. You can stop marketing emails by using an unsubscribe link or contacting us; we may still send transactional or service messages.
11. Regional disclosures
United States
State privacy laws may describe the information listed in Section 2 as identifiers, customer records, protected characteristics, commercial information, internet or electronic activity, geolocation data, professional information, financial information, user content, and inferences. We disclose these categories for the business purposes described in Section 5. Advertising disclosures involving identifiers and internet activity may be considered "sharing," "sale," or targeted advertising under some state laws even though no money changes hands. You may request to opt out as described in Section 10. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of people under 18.
We use payout credentials only to administer payments, prevent fraud, and comply with law. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.
European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland
You may lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. Please contact us first if you can, so we have an opportunity to address your concern. Information about our legal bases appears in Section 4, and information about international transfers appears below.
12. International transfers
Reelpop is based in the United States and works with users and providers in multiple countries. Your information may be processed in the United States or another country whose laws differ from those where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for restricted transfers, such as contractual protections, adequacy decisions, or another lawful transfer mechanism.
13. Children's privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and the Reelpop creator program is intended for people who are at least 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Services or law changes. We will post the updated policy here and revise the effective date. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice through the Services or by email when required. Your continued use after the updated policy becomes effective is subject to the revised policy.
